Mofongo

Hello again, and Happy Easter to all of you!

Things are going well here in P.R. and I am still enjoying myself. Today it rained for a few minutes, and it was so humid afterwards that every time the wind blew on me, my glasses fogged up. Yikes. I managed to get a sunburn on my armpit the other day, did I tell you about that?

Moustapha has been religated to working night shifts now. They are putting the roof on the building, and it is so hot that some of his co-workers ended up barfing over the edge today. I'm a little disapointed, and worried about him, but in the end, I think that I will be seing more of him for the rest of my visit here. Tomorrow morning we are going to go to the beach and splash around, Sunday I'm going to church with the lady who owns the appartement we are staying in. Tuesday I plan on taking a bus into Old San Jaun and exploring.

Tonight we went out for supper, and I had Mofongo again. It is a Puerto Rican food made from Plantains, and it is absolutely yummy, I could eat it all day long.
