Amazing
So, they are estimating that the cost of Katrina to the United States is likely 150 Billion dollars. That's alot of money, so much money that it is hard to imagine. What really amazes me is that 150 Billion dollars is more than the Canadian Government spends in a year. Wow.
Is that just the whites and their pretty suburbs or does that include the minorities too...?
Sorry that was overly snide. And why is it that much? Infrasructure? Lives? Time? Tourism? A crazy statistic, I agree, but what are the origins behind the number? And compare that to, let's say, the Tsunami.
